Newsgroups

Microsoft has a large number of newsgroups that cover the various Microsoft products. You can find a list of the groups at:

A number of the groups are specific to SQL Server and that list can be found at:
Microsoft SQL Server newsgroups

You can read the groups from your browser or you can set them up to be read from your email reader by reading the msnews.microsoft.com site and subscribing to the groups.

Education Resources

There is a training search service available from Thinq that is a good starting point for finding SQL Server training resources. Once you are on their main page click on the E-Catalog link near the bottom of the page. I have tested it and it misses some training resources, including Themis, so use the service CAREFULLY.
